It is now time to review Batman the Animated Series Episode 62 His Silicon Soul, where a Batman robot previously created by HARDAC was created, who thinks he is the real Batman. When he realizes his purpose, Batman has to stop him. Batman the Animated Series Episode 62 his Silicon Soul first aired on November 20th 1992 on FOX.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what we call a forced sequel. Something that follows up a previous episode that was pretty much tied up, based upon something that was only loosely hinted at. Apparently, Batman was cloned during the previous HARDAC episode Heart of Steel, and there was a robotic duplicate of him created, that was activated. He thinks that he is the real Batman, only to find out that he is not, and then decides to take over the Batcave.

As this episode was it is merely a fine episode. Not a good episode, not a great episode, not a bad episode, not a horrible episode, just merely a fine episode. Perhaps a bit better than average, as I certainly did not hate this episode. After all there was an epic fight between Batman and Robot Clone Batman, so you really can’t hate an episode that has something great like that.

Heart of Steel was not an episode that really set my word completely on fire to say the very least and its sequel, was just slightly better. The evil clone of a hero has been done right to death, but it is just how it is done that makes it a little bit more bearable. The result of this episode, was the duplicate thinking that Batman feel to his doom and feeling remorse, because even though he’s a robotic duplicate, Batman doesn’t kill. So it essentially commits robot suicide and it ends.

Batman ends the episode and theorizes that the robot might have grown a soul of its own, a silicon soul.
