In Hellsing Ultimate Volume Three, the Hellsing Organization hires a group of mercenaries called the Wild Geese to protect Alucard during the day while they investigate the Millennium group.

This anime is very well done.   The animation looks nice and the story is well written.  The action scenes are very well done and it’s an anime that I enjoy.

The voice acting is very good and the actors do a great job and Yuri Lowenthal as Pip Bernadotte is a nice addition to the cast of main characters.  Gildart Jackson is terrific as Major/SS-Sturmbannführer Montana Max and I liked his performance a lot and he’s perfectly evil.  Steve Wilcox’s brief performance as Tubalcain Alhambra is also very good.

The soundtrack is also very well done and Hayato Matsuo is a terrific composer and the soundtrack fits the action and the tone of the OVA.

As a note to parents, Hellsing Ultimate is not for younger viewers.  It has graphic violence, strong language, including the F-bomb, it’s recommended for ages 16 and up.

I do recommend Hellsing, but if you’re a Christian you will most likely be offended by the content of the anime, but it’s a fun and interesting story, although it’s very sacrilegious.   It’s worth your time and money, but it might be a little on the expensive side, since it is out of print, although Funimation says they will release it sometime this year.  You could try to see it on Netflix but it’s a little expensive.  It’s not for everyone, but if you enjoy vampire stories and you want them to be scary again, you will like the anime.  It does have a lot of potentially offensive content so viewer discretion is advised.

I never saw anything about Hellsing, its the first time I have heard about it. Probably, just the movie Van Hellsing. I should check this out.
