Cougar’s Love

Straight Cougar is a character from the anime series S-Cry-Ed, based on the manga of the same name. I totally fell for him, hard. He is a guy who may appear pompous and goofy on the surface, but underneath is a lot more complex. He is a lot smarter than he lets on, and is very loyal – in his own and very unique way. A young man who lives his life his own way, not caring what other people think. He is a man who lives for the present – here and now – without regrets. He rarely ever shows emotion, but his actions speak louder than words. He is compassionate, defending the helpless and weak. His love for Mimori is unwavering, despite the fact that she pines for someone else, who happens to be a fellow agent. He is always by her side, watching over her, protecting her. He is willing to die for her, even though he knows she will never be his. More than anything, Cougar wants Mimori to be happy. He even wishes that Ryuho – the object of Mimori’s affections – will see that she loves him and get together. A man who may appear shallow but is in reality incredibly deep and selfless.
