*Spongebob Squarepants*

Spongebob Squarepants in my opinion has to be one of the coolest and cutest sponges ever. And he’s also very lucky! Whilst most sponges are used for cleaning up dirt and washing dishes, Spongebob Squarepants gets to hang out with all his friends under the sea, and gets to live in a pineapple. What could be better.

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!

Below are the main characters and some information about them :

*Spongebob Squarepants* : The star of the show. A bright yellow square sponge with square pants. He lives in a pineapple under the sea in a little place called Bikini Bottom. He has a very irritating laugh although it can be cute at the same time. He works in a sea restaurant as a fry cook and his speciality is making krabby patties and annoying his work colleague and neighbour Squidward. Spongebob’s best friend is called Patrick and they love to go jelly fishing together. In the morning Spongebob is usually awakened by the sound of his foghorn alarm.

Gary : Is Spongebob’s pet snail. Although he’s no ordinary pet snail as he thinks he’s a cat. He gets fed from a cat bowl and Spongebob likes to take him out for walks.

Squidward : Is a very miserable squid who also works in the Krusty Krab and unfortunately for him lives next door to both Spongebob and Spongebob’s best friend Patrick. Squidward likes to think he’s very artistic and he plays the clarinet, although he’s not very good. He doesn’t really like anyone, ‘especially’ Spongebob and Patrick, and is constantly trying to get away from them so he can get some peace and quiet.

Patrick Star (aka Patrick) : Patrick is a really dumb pink starfish. He is Spongebob’s best friend and he lives under a rock next door to Squidward. He enjoys to go jelly fishing with Spongebob.

Sandy : Is a squirrel from Texas. She is one of Spongebob’s land friends and is very good at karate. She looks a bit like an astronaut and wears a little pink flower on the outside of her fish bowl shaped helmet. She now lives in a clear glass dome in Bikini Bottom. Inside her dome house she has real grass and a massive tree. When she’s inside her house, she no longer needs to wear her helmet as there’s no water.

Mr Krabs : Is a red crab and is Spongebob’s boss. He is the owner of the Krusty Krab and is very greedy with money. Mr Krabs also has a daughter called Pearl who just happens to be a giant whale.

Below is a picture of Mr Krab’s daughter Pearl. She isn’t in the show very much and you never get to see her mother.

Plankton : He is green and very small and the owner of the Krusty Krabs rival restaurant The Chum Bucket. He’s usually trying to put the Krusty Krab out of business and is always trying to steal the secret recipe for Mr Krab’s Krabby Patty. Plankton and Mr Krabs are sworn enemies.
