Sing Loud with Glee

Glee is another show to hit the airways on your television set with style. Most likely taking inspiration from High School Musical this show is TV”s latest attempt at making a hit musical TV series. This choir-themed dramady (that is a drama-comedy) may pave the way for future shows in the TV series musical genre.

Created by Ryan Murphy best known for the drama Nip/Tuck this new show is a first in the more family oriented TV shows. The creator of this series describes it as a “musical version of movies”. However, he does not hide the fact that there is still a great sense of drama in the upcoming show.

As for a Glee soundtrack there is one in the making as well. There is even going to be many on iTunes for individual sale. This new up-and-coming genre of TV shows may be more than just about producing a great show. It may create the link that is missing between the music and television industries.
