Charmed

Charmed is a popular television series which originated in America, it started in 1998 and ran for eight years. Charmed is about three young sisters who find out that they have magical powers and that they are witches, known as “The Charmed Ones” throughout the magical community. They are Prudence “Prue” Halliwell, the oldest, Piper Halliwell, the middle sister and Phoebe Halliwell the youngest – untill 2001.

The three sisters each have their own special powers which will grow as their lives changes. They get their powers after the death of their grandmother and inherate her house, the “manor”, in which they battle the demons and warlocks which are out there to steal their powers and kill them in San Francisco. When they discover their powers in the “Book of Shadows”, they discover that Prue has the power to move things with her mind. telekinesis in other words. Triggered by angry and her emotions, she channels hre power through her eyes before finding out that she finds her powers have grown and she can move things with her hands and soon gains the power of astral projection where she can move from one room to another but her body will stay in the first room but is unconscious, when she needs to be in two places at once. Piper to freeze time, she firstly can only freeze things which are very close to her until her powers grow and that people will stay frozen for longer periods of time. Before long she can control her powers to freeze certain objects while other things stay unfrozen. She also gains the power of blow things up, at first she can barely control it. Her powers are triggered by fear and her emtions. Phoebe has the ability to see into the future, with the power of premonition. At first her powers are weak but she soon gains the power of levitation, she is also unable to control this at first too.

In 2001, after the tragic death of Prue, Piper becomes the oldest and takes over Prue’s shoes after she faces a hard time of getting over Prue’s death, she and Phoebe learn that they have a Olaf sister, Paige. Half whitelighter, half witch. She can move things through the ability of orbing.

Throughout the series, the sisters struggle to keep their powers away from their other lives, which proves difficult which endly results in Prue’s death after they are discovered and shown on live TV using their powers. As their white lighter Leo who has the duty of protecting them and healing them if they get hurt during battle. He also becomes married to Piper. The sisters lives become complicated as they try to have normal lives, which results in many bad endings to relationships, including Andy Trudeau, Prue’s boyfriend in season 1, who was killed by a demon. Darly Morris who has to cover for the three many times and Cole Turner who was a half-demon who falls for Phoebe and destroys the power of three.

Charmed began October 7th, 1998 and ran for eight years until the finale, 21st May 2006. Charmed is one of the most loved productions on tv throughout the US and UK, which had millions of viewers.
