Carlos Left Edie

Carlos was tired of being with Edie so he wanted to leave her. She tried to throw up her trump card, but it didn’t work. He still wanted to leave. He let her think that there was no one else. Edie seemed okay with it, but she turned him in to the IRS. Her pan blew up in her face because there was no proof that he had unclaimed money. She really looked like a fool. Carlos ended up winning the battle. He left her. Edie may have ended up winning the war. You can read about it in Gaby’s section.

Bob and Lee hosted a Halloween party

They invited their neighbors to their Halloween party. I think it’s a little too late to have a Halloween party since it’s November. Bree got the shock of her life when Danielle showed up at the party. She dressed up as her mother so no one noticed how she was really pregnant. Danielle’s water broke at the party. Bree had everyone think that she had a water balloon. For some reason, Bree didn’t want to call an ambulance. She wanted Adam to deliver Danielle’s baby. Lynette and Tom’s kids saw Adam deliver Danielle’s baby. She had a boy. Danielle got a chance to hold her son. Bree didn’t seem too happy about it. Bree asked her if she was sure about not keeping her baby. Danielle was sure she was doing the right thing. Bree looked so relieved by that. I think Danielle is going to change her mind after seeing him with Bree.

Gaby tried to break up with Victor

Gaby wanted to break up with Victor. He wasn’t in town so she did it on the phone. I thought that was really tacky. If she were going to dump him, then she should have told him in person. How many days have gone by since she and Carlos decided to end their relationships? Why didn’t she try to end things with Victor before he left town? Gaby’s father-in-law showed up at her house to keep her from leaving Victor for at least 13 months. That doesn’t say much for Victor that his father had to bribe Gaby to stay with him until after the election.

Gaby actually considered doing it. Carlos ended up telling her how he had money. Gaby was happy at first. She ended up getting mad at him for keeping that from her. I think she only got mad because she wanted to consider her father-in-law’s offer. Since Carlos didn’t approve of the idea, she probably picked a fight so she could take the money.

Edie showed Victor pictures of Gaby and Carlos kissing. I can only imagine what he will do to them now that he knows about them.

Mike kept something from Susan

During a visit with her genetic counselor, Susan found out that Mike’s father is still alive. He told her that his father is in prison for murder. He is serving a life sentence. I don’t understand why Mike kept it a secret. I know he didn’t want to drop that type of bomb on her on their first date, but they’ve known each other for years so he could have said something sooner. Mike has also started pill popping.

Susan and Mike went to see his father. Mike’s father said he killed his boss. Mike didn’t seem to like being at the prison. Maybe it gave him flashbacks of when he was in there. Susan had to be amateur detective and dug in Mike’s father’s life. She had to find out how he could kill someone and not regret it. He warned Susan to keep an eye out for Mike. I don’t understand something. Mike has been seemingly normal for the past three years, but now he is suddenly acting strange. The writers obviously had to pull something out of the fire to give Mike a story.

Lynette’s diagnosis

Lynette didn’t really have much to do in this episode. She wanted to kill a possum. Anyway, Lynette’s doctor showed up at her house to give her the test results. He told her that she is clean of cancer. That is really great. I’m really happy about that.
