Time of My Life (GMA 7) Gets Mixed Ratings

The numbers are out. The first ever danserye on Philippine television has the upper-hand.

What is a Danserye?

By the way, if you are not familiar with what a danserye is, it is the term the GMA Network coined to refer to a drama series which involves dancing. My expectations about a danserye is a So You Think You Can Dance with a plot and permanent characters.

According to GMA Network, Time of My Life is the first of its kind on Philippine television. Although some viewers disagree, citing the teen oriented show Good Vibes as the leader.

Time of My Life mixes drama and dance is a drama series. It is about a young dancers dream of becoming the best dancer that she can be, with a side story about her real identity and knowing her real parents.

If you are interested to know the rating of the pilot episode of Time of My Life, here it is:

According to AGB Nielsen Mega Manila People & Household Ratings, Time of My Life is a winner on its timeslot with 12.6%, beating Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (ABS-CBN) with 9.6%.

However, according to Kantar Media-TNS National Household Ratings, the danserye falls behind Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin which won with 24.3%. Time of My Life has 17.8%.
