Ten Ten Pricing Games on The Price is Right

Come on down and read about the top ten pricing games on the Price is Right.

Come on down. You are a contestant on the Price is Right. Ever since I was young, I loved the Price is Right. Obviously the Bob Barker years are going to be most fondly remembered by many. Drew Carey obviously had some big shoes to fill and he does run hot and cold as host, but then again, when you have to follow a legend such as Bob Barker, its obvious that you’re going to not really measure up as well.

Every morning on CBS, this game show is one of the staples of many. College campuses all around the world watch the Price is Right. Many set the show to be recorded if they have to work during the day, so they won’t miss a winning. Yet there is one thing that remains key about the Price is Right and those are the pricing games. The Price is Right would not be the Price is Right without the classic games. Some are great, some are not so good. It was a long process but I think that I came up with a list of the time ten Price is Right Pricing Games of all time.

Number Ten…Three Strikes.

Like with Baseball, three strikes and you’re out. Eight discs in the bag, five of them are numbers for the prize, a brand new car, and the others are strikes. It is very easy to get tripped up in this game, and you need to guess the right number, otherwise its back to the bag and the danger of a strike is always there.

Number Nine…Master Key

Five keys. One of them opens up all of the prize, three keys for the three prizes, and one key for absolutely nothing. It is a downer when someone only gets the key that opens nothing. One of the most infamous moments in the history of this game, is where the Master Key did not cooperate. So Bob Barker decided to take care of it with a sharp kick.

Number Eight…Lucky Seven.

You get seven dollars and have to guess the number in the price of the car. By however many you are off, you have to pay that amount of dollars. You have to have one dollar to buy the car. Obviously this is one that’s not won that often, as it takes absolute precision.

Number Seven…1/2 Off.

Starting out with sixteen boxes, by guessing what prize of three sets is half off, they can keep taking away half of the boxes. Until there is only two left. A person who has no boxes taken away, can either be lead to doom or an epic victory. I mean, what’s more amazing? Guessing the right box out of sixteen boxes or two. That would be a true crowning moment of awesome.

Number Six…Hole in One(or Two)

Its really amusing to see people who really have no talent in putting a golf ball play this game. You get the ball in the hole, you win. Its miniature golf, what more do you want?

Number Five…The Range Game.

The Range Game is where you have to guess the range where the price falls. Remember, once the Range Game has stopped, it cannot be started again for another thirty seven hours.

Number Four…That’s Too Much.

I love this game, because it gives me a cast iron excuse to yell at the television like an absolute nutcase. And some of the people, they don’t put any feeling into yelling those three words. Come on people, you’re on the Price is Right, your on the CBS network, show some feeling. A dark horse favorite of this game show for sure.

Number Three…Ten Chances.

You know when game shows are fun. When absolute morons are playing. Then you can sit and cackle at their stupidity. Ten Chances, every time this game comes on, I get excited, because I know someone is not going to pick up on some of the obvious patterns and make a fool out of themselves. And if you’ve watched Price is Right, like these people claim they have, you can pick out some obvious patterns to exploit.

Number Two…Cliff Hangers.

Cliff Hangers is a great game. That poor mountain climber is the victim to some of best non-ten chances stupidity. Some people are off and then there are those people who are really off. Still it is fun watching the adventures of Hans the Mountain Climber.

And the Number One Price is Right Pricing Game is ….

Plinko!

Really, did you expect anything else? Plinko is a joy to watch. In theory if all five chips hit right, you can win fifty thousand dollars. The chances of that happen are about up their with the chances with every single elected politician being honest and trustworthy.

So those are the top ten pricing games on Prices is Right. And remember to help control the pet population, have your pets spayed and neutered.
