A short bio on the American Idol star.
On the 4th day of May 1985, Anthony Fedorov was born in the Soviet Union. Father Vladimir and mother Nataliya were told when Anthony was just a small boy that he would most likely be unable to talk due to a growth in his throat that was removed. But Anthony had music in his blood, his grandmother sang Opera. Around the age of six Anthony began to sing. Anthony sings tenor. He also plays piano. When asked who his favorite pop artists were, Anthony responded with Marc Anthony and Mariah Carey.
By the age of 14 Anthony was performing on stage. He mostly performed in Pennsylvania, but did perform some in New York as well. Not only did Anthony sing in English, but Italian and Spanish as well.
In 2005 Anthony appeared on American Idol’s fourth season. Anthony was voted off in May and finished fourth. The first song Anthony sang on Idol was “Hold On to the Night”. The last two songs Anthony sang on American Idol was “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” and “I’m Already There”.
Anthony has made several appearances since being on American Idol. He has sang the national anthem for several sporting events. Anthony also appeared as a contestant on the reality show Fear Factor in 2006 where he came in second place. He also made some appearances on MTV’s series Little Talent Show- Triple Threat in 2006. In 2007 Anthony traveled through Europe to several Air Force bases to help support the American Troops.
