Stacy Dash Wows Judges on Celebrity Circus

Celebrity Circus made its debut with an eclectic mix of D-listers performing a dizzying array of circus stunts. Stacy Dash won the judge’s favor, but will America vote for her?

Celebrity Circus is the latest reality-based show featuring D-listers eager to reclaim some time in the spotlight. The premise of the show is very similar to Dancing With the Stars. Stars perform circus tricks and are judged by an American Idol kind of panel. The formula works – Celebrity Circus exceeded expectations in its debut.

Stacy Dash Takes Celebrity Circus

Stacy Dash of Clueless fame was mesmerizing in a sexy costume as she dramatically bungees through the air on the trapeze to the sounds of “Shut Up and Drive” by Rhianna. The celebrity panel scored her performance as tops for the night. She admitted she even broke ribs during training and her doctor suggested she take time off. She didn’t want to give up (we mean miss her chance to revive a career) and worked through the pain.

Blu’s Got the Blues

Blu Cantrell, yes, we forgot who she was, too, until someone chimed in with “Hit “Em Up Style” – scored the lowest of the night. She was uninspiring on the Spanish Web and referred to her low score as “bullcrap.”

8 Weeks of Training

Christopher Knight from the Brady Bunch is the resident geezer of the bunch at 50. His performance on the German Wheel landed him in a tie with a score of 6.7. That training for the past two months really paid off for him, though. Rachel Hunter looked like she could”ve used another few weeks with her trainer, but she still looked great, if not overly confident. Wee Man from JackAss pulled off an energetic performance in the Wheel of Death. Joey Fatone, the host, explained it is so dangerous, the Wheel of Death has been banned for 20 years!

The Public Votes Next

Ami Moore, a Chicago Dog Trainer, made time to watch this program. “It seemed a little different – I thought I would give it a go.” When asked if she was going to dial in and vote, she said, “Absolutely not, but I think I would give my vote to Stacy Dash. That was incredible and polished for a couple months of training.”

The public’s votes will be tabulated with the judge’s scores and then, predictably, the act with the fewest votes is sent packing. Stay tuned for next week’s update.
