Celebrity Apprentice Cast 2012

Donald Trump is back.  I can hardly wait for the first show to begin this year’s Celebrity Apprentice on NBC.  The line up of personalities are quite interesting, as usual.  However, it never amazes me how some of these celebs will show the worst of themselves on national television.  I will never forget Celebrity Apprentice contestants Meatloaf’s rant directed at Gary Busey, or Nene Leake’s attacks against just about everyone, especially, Starr Jones and Latoya Jackson who is sweetheart and didn’t deserve the attack, at all.  

I am sure this year won’t disappoint, celebs are just people with more money than others.  Money can’t buy you a decent personality; though there have been some jewels on Celebrity Apprentice, like, singers John Rich and Bret Michaels and actresses, Lisa Rinna and Marlee Matlin.  Seems that some of these celebrities get so caught up in the game that they forget that it’s all for charity, to have fun and that they just might run into the celebs whose necks they step on in the future.  

Whatever the case, we are sure to be entertained from one week to the next until this year’s 18 celebrities are chopped down by Donald Trump to the final two and the ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ is named.

LouFerrigno – don’t make him mad – Actor

Debbie Gibson – POP singer

Arsenio Hall – Former late night show host, actor

Penn Jillette – Magician – He could hypnotize everyone; don’t make him mad, either. 

Lisa Lampanelli - Comedienne

Dayana Mendoza – Beauty queen

Aubrey O’Day – Singer

Dee Snider – Musician

George Takei – Actor, “Star Trek” fame, Sulu.

Paul Teutul, Sir – “American Chopper” star

Cheryl Tiegs – Former Supermodel, actress

Patricia Velasquez – Actress, supermodel

This line up of celebrities promises to be as interesting and bumpy as the past Celebrity Apprentices.  The premise of the show is to split the cast into two teams, usually, the men against the women.  Each team selects a project manager, completes tasks each week, then, the team that raises the most money wins.  However, the losing team’s PM chooses two people to go back into the boardroom, where Donald Trump fires one of them.  This process continues until there are only two celebrities pitted against each other for the title of ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’  The winner is given a chunk of money for his or her charity, as well as, the money that is raised during each task is given to the respective Project Manager’s charity.

Celebrity Apprentice 2012 will premiere Sunday, February 12, 2012; check your local listing for airtime.
