Many people are fans of reality television shows. As such, I’m going to list the 39 most popular dating and relationship reality television programs in television history.
Are you looking for love? Have you already tried visiting the bars, registering on LavaLife.com, and going out on blind dates? Perhaps what you need to try is competing on a reality television show such as “The Bachelor.” However, since the producers of “The Bachelor” are already inundated with potential contestants, it’s hard to make the final cut. Never fear! There are many other reality dating shows you can apply to be on!
The following 8 programs are currently set to air for another season, so don’t waste any time and send in your application form!
The following 31 programs are no longer being produced, but many of them were a hit while they were being aired on television. If a network ever decides to bring back one of these all-time classics, they’ll surely be popular with the viewing audience!
Of course, not everyone is comfortable with appearing on a relationship television program. It can be quite awkward French kissing the bachelor/bachelorette when you know that the footage will be broadcast to millions of people around the world. Then again, if you have an open-type of personality, and you don’t mind being filmed, this could be the perfect opportunity to find your soul-mate.
However, there is one thing you need to consider before sending in your application form. Time and time again, you can watch these shows and see the competitors becoming jealous with regards to the fact that the bachelor/bachelorette is kissing another contestant. You really need to be of the non-jealous type to compete in such an environment. To add to that, it does pose a different sort of question – is French kissing safe in such a scenario? After all, there is substantial contamination of human saliva. It’s one thing to French kiss someone who you’ve known for years; it’s another to do it with someone you’ve known for less than 24 hours. Actually, come to think of it, I don’t think I want to know the chances of getting oral cancer or some other deadly disease…
In any case, if you ever become a contestant on any of these shows, I wish you the best of luck in finding the love of your life!
Hey, great info, very interesting!
Interesting article. I had no idea there were so many shows like this.
Guess I won’t be applying for these shows any time soon. Nicely written — thanks for heightening my awareness!
very interesting, well done.
cheers,

I think dating shows have changed because people now have internet, a place where they don’t need to expose so much. Shows like The Bachelor are not for regular people.
Great job! I have to echo the thoughts of nutuba. Really interesting presentation.
