Back to Reality

I kind of had a feeling this wouldn’t end well. Donna finds poor Beth who as it turns out had Eric first floating face down in the pool. Of course they didn’t show Donna jumping into the pool but her screaming brought the others pretty quick. She was there doing CPR which kind of looked silly to me. Um isn’t it five times and she didn’t seem to be pushing hard enough? The paramedics came but it was too late the poor thing was dead. How bizarre is it that everyone but Katie has slept with Eric?

Katie was still with Bill so of course she has no idea what’s going on. She’s spending some time with the husband before Beth and Stephen move in. That is pretty sweet of Bill since that’s a lot to ask considering the circumstances but he’s all for it since she’s family. I wonder where the picture is that Katie wigged out about when she couldn’t find it. She said she got an empty feeling in her heart like on some level she knew that something horrible had happened. Maybe Storm told her through his heart or maybe not since that just sounds nuts doesn’t it? So far no one has called her to let her know about her mother’s death.

Everyone is all upset and wondering what happened so it is just assumed to be an accident. Donna thinks they should have followed Beth to the bathroom. I’m kind of surprised that Stephanie spoke up because this is just looking really bad for her. She told them what happened and that just makes her look worse after all these two had a history of hating each other. I knew Stephanie was more like Brooke than she was willing to admit since she swooped in and took Eric from Beth. She even admitted to throwing the lace into the pool and walking away. What she should have done was call for someone but instead she left the poor woman knowing that she was sick. Sure she didn’t know about the importance of the lace but the fact that she left the poor woman doesn’t make Stephanie look good even though this was just a horrible accident because it won’t appear that way to the others. Talk about a really crappy time to have Boob gone.
