Big Day

Steph decides to lie about going away with Gilly instead of into the hospital for surgery. She has Tom go off with Jack to London but I had a feeling that Gilly would end up calling the family which is what he did. Poor Jake didn’t know about it because a certain psycho didn’t let him know and of course he was realizing what an utter loon she really is. That’s pretty twisted lying about cancer because you’re not the center of attention.

Jake gets suspicious of Loretta because she’s really vague about her treatment which Jake knew something about because of Charlie. So he does a little digging and ends up talking to Dom who met Loretta around the time she claimed to have leukemia but there’s one little problem when she was stripping she never missed a day in the four years she was doing it. So now he knows what a total psycho she is but I don’t think she’s just going to go never to be seen again. I’m sure she’ll do something crazy.

Darren finally goes to see Steph and he did what Steph wanted. She was about to leave and he asked if he could have her room if something happened. At least that gave her a laugh. He does care but for some people it is hard to face them when you find out news like this but of course everyone seems to want to think the worst of Darren. He did show up at the hospital with Frankie and Newt. I found it odd that Newt wanted Rae to go with him. She’s still all freaked out about dying before her birthday which explains the outfit. But like Newt said cancer isn’t something you can just catch by being around someone.

Maybe Rae should take time off from work or see if she can just clean instead of going near things that could set her on fire. She did take the trash out to the dumpster but oops the bag split open. Maybe she should just stay inside until her birthday comes and goes just to be on the safe side. Sure it is odd that both her sisters died but that doesn’t mean she will although it would be funny in a bad way of course if she did end up dying before her birthday. She could get some protective gear but what she was wearing just wasn’t working. I wonder what the sunglasses were for. Maybe she was afraid of flying silverware stabbing her in the eye.
