Celeste read the tarot cards

Celeste was finally convinced to read the tarot cards. When she read them, she got a deadly vibe from them. She told Bo, Roman, and Abe that someone close to them was going to die. I think that someone is going to be Lexie. Since Renee Jones has been let go, she may be a safe bet to die.

Chelsea emailed the pictures of Bo/Billie

That little monster struck again this week. Just when you thought she couldn’t get any worse, she proves that she can. She can’t just live with the fact that her parents aren’t getting back together. She has to keep scheming to make it happen. This time, she emailed the pictures of Bo and Billie to Hope, Steve, and Patrick. Predictably, her plan worked with Hope. Hope got upset with Bo just when it looked as if things were looking up for them. It’s as if Chelsea is psychic when it comes to Hope. She always knows exactly what to do in order to ruin any chance of Bo/Hope getting back together. That’s what makes me hate her even more. Her plan didn’t work for Steve because he still wanted Billie to be a part of his life.

Bo ripped into Chelsea

This had to be the best moment of the week. I really enjoyed seeing Bo yell at her. When he stood behind her, it looked as if he was going to choke her. Too bad he didn’t do it. He called her out on her whining when she tried to justify why she sent the pictures. When he couldn’t take her whining anymore, he threw her computer out of the house. She told him how the computer was her life. He let her know that he didn’t care and he left. I think Peter did a great job with those scenes. It was a wonder he had the self-control not to hit her.

Kate gave Chelsea bad advice

Billie wanted Kate to talk to Chelsea about her behavior. She thought that Kate was the only one who could get through to her. I guess so since Chelsea is a baby version of Kate. Kate agreed to talk to her, but she didn’t give her the advice that Billie expected her to give her. She ended up praising her actions. She advised her to write a blog and put all of her thoughts in it. I can practically see an Internet stalker story happening.

John rewrite

Roman made a comment about John this week that made me scratch my head. When he and Abe found out that EJ is a DiMera (Celeste told them), they wanted John to investigate him because he is a DiMera. Was that a mistake by the writers or is that foreshadowing? Long time viewers should remember that John is not a DiMera. He is only related to Tony because they have the same mother. Their mother was only a DiMera through marriage. Unless the writers are trying to tell us that John is a DiMera, what was with the rewrite?

Hope and Billie’s showdown

I enjoyed Hope and Billie’s scenes at Hope’s house. I was torn on whose side to be on during the scenes. I loved how Hope put Billie in her place about Chelsea. One of the problems I had with what Hope did to her was she yelled at Billie when all she wanted to do was apologize to her. As right as she was about Chelsea, she was still talking about Billie’s daughter. I could understand why Hope would have yelled at Billie if she weren’t trying to apologize to her. Billie didn’t owe her an apology because she owes her nothing. I am in no way trying to justify Billie’s actions, but she’ not completely wrong because she didn’t do anything with Bo.

Bo confronted Patrick

Bo made the mistake of confronting Patrick after he thought that Patrick hurt Hope. While Bo was talking to Chelsea, Patrick went to the house to talk to Hope. Things got heated when Hope tried to tell Patrick that she didn’t want to be with him. One thing lead to another and he made Hope knock the vase over. Bo walked in the house after it was over and thought that Patrick put his hands on her. He saw red and went after Patrick. He warned Patrick to stay away from Hope and that he was going to be the one there for Hope when she went to the doctor’s appointments. They argued and Patrick kicked him out of the house.

EJ beat Patrick up

When EJ confronted Patrick about not paying Shawn, he beat Patrick up. If Patrick didn’t turn his back to EJ, he would have seen him with the belt. I personally enjoyed watching Patrick get beat. I wish we could have seen more of it. It wasn’t fair of the writers to cut the scene. The problem with what EJ did was giving Patrick a way to set Bo up.

Bo was arrested

Yes, you read that right. Bo was arrested. When Patrick accused Bo of beating him up, the police arrested Bo. This could have been prevented if Bo didn’t go see Patrick. Hope could have been his alibi. I guess his hot temper got the better of him.

Why is Abe so hard on Bo

He knows that the Bradys are being targeted so why was it so hard to believe that Patrick and EJ could have framed him? Even if he didn’t believe that EJ was involved, he still should have figured Patrick would have set Bo up. Considering what he’s going through with Tek, he should understand what Bo’s going through.

Hope didn’t believe Bo

As usual, Hope was willing to believe the worst in Bo. She chose to believe Patrick over him. Not too long ago, she told Patrick that she couldn’t trust him. She also said she wasn’t going to doubt Bo again. That sure didn’t last long. The second Patrick told her that Bo attacked him, she believed it. I guess when it concerns Bo, Hope will always believe Patrick.

Other people were willing to believe that Bo was innocent. John knew that EJ was the one who attacked Patrick the second he heard the story. Roman thought Bo was innocent when he heard the story too. Billie thought he was innocent too. Patrick’s own sister thought that he was lying on Bo. The clincher was Shawn. Shawn has made it no secret that he could care less about Bo and he was willing to believe him. All Bo had to do was tell him that he was innocent and he believed him.

Shawn tried to get Hope to believe Bo

He asked her if she thought his father could attack Patrick. It seemed like he was getting through to her at first. When she read the letter that Bo gave Shawn to give to her, I thought it might have worked. It turned out it didn’t. She told Shawn that the letter made no difference. Shawn told her how he thought Bo was a liar too, but it turned out that he was right about everything he was accused of. He also tried to tell her that Patrick was a bad man. This is when I think Shawn messed up. If he wanted Hope to stay away from Patrick, why didn’t he tell her how he’s involved with EJ? That might have made her think twice about Patrick’s story. He chose to keep that bit of info to himself.

Abe lost his sight

It looks like Abe is losing his sight again. That happened out of the blue because he wasn’t complaining about losing his sight before. Now all of a sudden he’s having problems. Could it be the stress of the EJ/Patrick investigation? He did suddenly have problems with his eyes after he was humiliated on television. For some reason, he wants to keep this a secret from everyone. He thinks this could be the thing that gets him fired. He’s taking a dangerous risk because Lexie can’t be with him all of the time. Besides, I have a feeling that Tek is going to find out the truth and blackmail him.

Tek threatened Abe

Tek threatened Abe to give him a recommendation to get another job. He said he was having trouble finding a job since Abe fired him. Abe refused to do it. Tek told him how the district attorney is investigating the police department as well as Abe. Tek said he could help the district attorney by telling them why he got fired. That put the fear in Abe and he decided to give him what he wanted. Abe shouldn’t have fired him and that might not have happened. Now he knows what Bo’s going through with Patrick.

Kayla wanted Steve to go away with her

Kayla told Lexie how she didn’t want Steve to stay with her out of obligation. She was going to see if Steve really remembered her. She wanted to go to a cabin that they used to go to and see if he remembered it and to see if he really wanted to be with her. When she confronted Steve about it, he tried to come up with excuses to get out of going. When she dad an answer for his excuses, he gave up and decided to go with her. I hope this works for them because it would be nice to see them back together.

John/Marlena went to Italy

When John was going to Italy to investigate EJ, Marlena ended up tagging along. She didn’t believe his story about going to a meeting for Basic Black. In actuality, she guilted Bo into telling her where John was going. She told John she was going to help him investigate the DiMeras. I hope she could avoid getting in trouble because we know how trouble follows her around.
