Doing Surprises

Gaz is impressed that Lauren’s able to keep up the lie but I have to wonder if she isn’t up the duff for real. Of course Gaz would be the father but it is possible that she’s pregnant. Calvin didn’t take it well when Cheryl mentioned it. Well when you’re talking about something like that you might want to avoid doing it where anyone can hear you like someone that needed to get some oranges.

What’s her name shows up to have a date with Ravi. Her name escapes me and I totally think she’s Anita’s Mom or Mum as you Brits say. I’m guessing that her biological mother was a teen when she had Anita. Poor Ravi was so adorable and so very nervous. Anita accidentally spills some coffee on her although I’m wondering if it wasn’t on purpose after all her taking off and Ravi leaving did give her the chance to get the money out of the till for that concert she wants to go to with Theresa and Rae. Well what’s her name comes back and she tells Ravi that she isn’t ready for a relationship. She just broke up with someone.

I do feel bad for poor Spencer since he thinks he’s the father of Lauren’s possibly fake baby since there is the chance that she is pregnant for real. He’s all clumsy at the Loft so he talks to Calvin but Sasha comes in. She gets it out of him about Lauren being pregnant but she thinks that Gaz is the father which of course he is if she is really pregnant. Sasha yells at him and he takes off but Gaz goes after him. I never really thought about him as a potential suspect since I don’t give him much thought but I guess he could be the one that kills Calvin since he was pretty sinister when he said, “Not if I see you first” after he left the Valentines house. He pretends to be all nice by offering to pretend to be the father of Lauren’s baby. Gee isn’t that generous since you would be the father if there is an actual baby.

Muriel takes Michaela to the hospital where Tarrick is since he was beaten up. She wants to interview him but Michaela ends up figuring out that it was Zak that beat him up and Tarrick isn’t saying a word. I think I have his name right. It all depends on the accent and how the word is being said since row sounds weird with a British accent since it sounds like ow with an r instead of oh with an r. Instead of the interview with Tarrick to protect Zak she offers to interview him about how’s been dealing with the death of his brother. So she takes a tape recorder and talks to Zak. Oh I’m thinking the numb is going to turn to anger when he finds out what you did but she is saving his butt by doing this since he could be brought up on assault charges. I think Tarrick’s guilt will keep him quiet although the guy didn’t actually do anything wrong.

Jemma talks to someone on the phone and gives Steph the impression that something is funky because she isn’t going to the gym like she told Gilly she was. Doesn’t she work out in the bar? Steph and Darren decide to go snooping in her room. Oh Steph you aren’t a good lookout since you had no idea she was there until she just appeared. Darren had just found a scrapbook with some less than flattering pictures of Jemma. Now that’s why I avoid pictures since I always look like I’m stoned which I’m not. She was getting Gilly a gift but she takes it back when he laughs at the picture. So much for that idea and oops Steph ends up kissing Gilly and running off. He was asking her about Darren and if they really were interested in each other. They are just step siblings unlike some Salemites that are involved with people that share blood with each other. That would just be weird to have Darren and Steph get together since they are more brother and sister so there would be an ick factor despite them not sharing blood.
