Liven Things Up

Looks like Zainab didn’t learn her lesson because she didn’t to offer some advice to Lucas about his marriage. I don’t think your advice will help him Zainab since he killed a man and he’s leading a secret life where people call him Mark. It is never a good sign when the husband stays out but Denise seems to have him on a pedestal because he could never do anything wrong except for the whole part where he killed a man and possibly a dog. Kim decides to liven things up a bit at book club. Looks like they didn’t like Pride And Prejudice or at least Bianca didn’t since she wanted less corsets and more bonking at least that’s what I think she said.

Hey I thought she was supposed to be watching Jordan. She brought some stuff to the party and I noticed that Zainab didn’t try anything on. I wonder about the buzzing. I know where my mind went and I’m going to guess Heather.  Poor Bianca gets blamed for the missing corset which Denise took. Well the poor thing is desperate to have her husband pay any attention to her. She should form a club with Suzanne since she’s having the same problem with Nev or she could be like Suzanne and take up with a younger man. Maybe Darren would be interested and ironically the same name of the guy that Suzanne’s been having fun with.  On second thought maybe not since I think he was Libby’s boyfriend until it came out that he slept with Heather resulting in baby George. Am I right about that? I’ve only been watching since the end of January so I could be wrong.

Phil finally comes home and he wants to see Ben. Heather spills Ian’s trash so he agrees to bring him round. I do wonder why he’s on garbage duty. Is it community service or something? If it is he is a bit hypocritical to judge Phil and I’m still confused about him being Ben’s brother. Phil can’t be his father. I get the feeling I’m missing something here. He ends up taking Ben to the station after all the kid’s facing charges on the attack on Jordan. Sure that kid is mean but attacking him with a wrench was a bit over the top. Stand up to the kid instead of putting him in the hospital. And when they get back the guy from social services is there which Phil isn’t thrilled about. No shocker but he could lose both kids at this point. Maybe he could stop drinking which might help some and enroll in an anger management course or do they not have them over in England?

Max and Vanessa get all hot and heavy until she sees a picture of  Bradley and mentions  him. Still a touchy subject since he shut up after that. She ends up dropping him off after fixing her car I guess since I’m just confused at this point only to have the girl that was in the middle of the road turn out to be her daughter. I did notice she put a wedding ring on so there’s something going on there. She got the job and Darren gave her some money since she was having a meltdown in the street. Maybe the heat is getting to my brain but I feel like I’ve missed something even though I don’t think I’ve actually missed something. Maybe it has to do with me not being British.

I really like Arthur who ends up finding out that Mercy and her Grandmother don’t really want to go back to Nigeria. He ends up having them meet him only to meet each other so they end up talking about things. So they are staying thanks to Arthur. Still not sure why he likes to call himself Fatboy or Fats this time around. I do like those two even though I haven’t really seen them up till now. Hey like I said I’m new to this world. Even Mrs O wants Arthur to speak English.  Even those speaking English don’t always penetrate to my brain since some of those words just go over my head leaving me clueless about what they mean. There really should be an British to American Dictionary to help people out when an odd word shows up. I do wonder if a  Brit that came over to America and went to a KFC would think they were getting a cookie with the chicken since they call them biscuits while they are actually just a type of roll.
