Lose Everything

Well it was nice to have a break from Skanky One since there’s another one on Days that’s acting like her so I don’t want to be on overload of skankiness. I kind of figured it was Owen after hearing the doctor go on since she wouldn’t be saying that Bridget would love the baby no matter what and asking her if she really wanted to know. So I was right about Jackie. I had a feeling she’d want Bridget to lie about the paternity. Well it’s not like she’s the first one to do that. I’m sure anyone that watches soaps can think of a few people that have done that.

Nick decides to tell Aggie the news about Bridget having a baby. She notices that Owen’s acting strange but Nick explains it away as a reminder of what he sacrificed to be with Jackie not having kids and that he’d made a great father. I think he would not to mention a hot father. At least they showed a flashback since a shirtless hottie is always good even if it is a flashback. Oops where was I? I got distracted again by Owen’s deliciousness. Was it just me or did anyone else think that she was wondering who the father was. Well Jackie wants Bridget to tell everyone that Nick is the daddy since she doesn’t want to lose Owen. She thinks that he’d go after Bridget if he found out the truth but I’m not so sure about that since I do believe he loves Jackie. I don’t care as long as he’s shirtless. Yes I’m being shallow again but that shouldn’t be a surprise especially if you’ve seen that list I have at my website.

So there wasn’t too much going on today. I’m just glad I got a shirtless Owen even though it was brief. But I do wonder if Owen will believe her after that phone call. If he wasn’t the father why wouldn’t she just tell him on the phone? It’s a wonder I can think with that hottie on the brain. And of course there’s Aggie to worry about because she would love the opportunity to see Nick and Bridget’s marriage crash and burn since that would give her a shot at him so if she sees an opening I’m sure she’ll take it. As long as she thinks the baby is Nick’s I don’t think she’ll do anything. It would certainly be bloody lousy if the truth did come out especially now. Sure it will likely come out at some point but hey Ivy was able to keep Ethan’s paternity secret for over twenty years which is what they always said which amused me. Everything was always over twenty years ago. And I’m sure the stress of the truth coming out wouldn’t help her in carrying the baby but of course there’s the stress of lying too so it isn’t good either way.
