No Promises

I kind of feel sorry for Jake who got scared away from that job because Leo kept nattering on. I don’t really think Leo meant anything about it but Jake left. I found it odd that Steph would mention a job that was at the school with his record. I would think he wouldn’t be allowed because of that. He got freaked out since he thought everyone was staring and him and then Leo showed up. Hey maybe he was applying for the job himself and wanted to get rid of the competition but some other guy showed up which Leo finally noticed when he finished tying his shoe.

Duncan sticks his foot in his mouth again. Well that’s a shocker. Des overhears him talking to Kris and he ends up pulling Duncan out of class. I’m wondering about this dude and after this episode he’s going to the top of the Kill Calvin List. Okay I don’t really have a list but he’s at the top of the list I didn’t really make. It’s like he wants to cause trouble for Kris for some reason. I can’t figure out why. Does this have something to do with Nancy? I can’t figure this dude out. Now he’s talking videos of Kris and Ricky hanging out. He’s just trying to help the kid out. It isn’t helping that Duncan’s being an idiot. He is so going to cause trouble for Kris who isn’t doing anything wrong.

Sasha ends up losing her temper and slaps Lauren. Whoops but she tries to make things right by retracting her statement about Gaz. So he’s out of jail but still a total dick. She actually seems to feel bad about lying or maybe I’m seeing something that isn’t there. She decides to give Calvin another chance and Sasha does too. I guess it helped that she found herself doing something that she shouldn’t to protect her little sister. It finally seemed to hit her that Warren was a really bad guy. They go to the wedding but I’m thinking something happens since they didn’t look too happy. I didn’t see Gaz there so I’m thinking he probably runs off. Well I say good riddance since I’ve never liked the wanker anyway.

Since Des is just acting very strange and going on about Carmel marrying Calvin again I’m thinking he’s the one that sent the note and the text. Well he was using his phone and he did have that look on his face. What is up with this dude? Does he have a secret love for Carmel and he’s only with Jacqui because she’s her sister and he can’t be with Carmel? He’s just giving me the creeps. So I think I just might call him Mr Psycho. He’s just being very strange. He had a weird reaction when he was talking to Zak too. Also was it just me or did anyone else get weird coloring when he was talking to Duncan? It was happening earlier when Jake was wigging out about doing the interview so I thought it was his crazy rearing up but it happened when Des was talking to Duncan. Maybe I’m reading into something that was actually nothing.

It looks like Zak wised up since he admitted that he was just lashing out without thinking. Of course the guy feels bad after all Tarrick’s the best friend so of course he’s going to feel guilty about the death of his friend and he’s not going to turn in the brother of his best friend. I think he understands why Zak did what he did and feels he deserved it because he let Caleb die even though it was just something that happens. There’s no way he could have known that would have happened. It could just as easily have been Tarrick instead. He was saving a kid which is a good thing but Des didn’t seem to think so. So he’s my number one suspect but I haven’t ruled out Mercedes either and the possibility of Mal finally flipping out and doing Calvin in.

Poor Steph thinks there’s no chance she’ll get together with Gilly. Who knows maybe Cheryl can help. Or they could go gay. I can’t get that image out of my head when they were talking to Gilly and Steph kept trying to hide Cheryl’s boobs with her head. I guess she really wanted some alone time without Jake being there. The only way he’d get a second chance would be somewhere else because people aren’t very forgiving in Hollyoaks. She tells Cheryl about Jemma finding the letter. She has no idea if Gilly knows or not but he hasn’t talked to her since. I don’t think she showed him the letter. It looked like it finally arrived after doing a little traveling around so I think she got the letter and read it and that Gilly is clueless about it which is how Jemma wants it. Have I mentioned I don’t like her?
