2010: A Look Ahead

In 2010 we may, God willing, see the end of NBC and some of its “stars”.

2009 was a horrible year, I think everyone will agree. In that year we witnessed not only the untimely demise of the King of Pop, the timely death of the King of Sidekicks, Ed McMahon, may he rest in peace, and last but not lost, the passing away of the Queen of Angels, Farrah Fawcett. We are now left without any royalty to lead us through 2010 which, although in its infancy, is already  threatening to be a disastrous year.

Due to the catastrophe at NBC there is a danger that we will have to give up geniuses such as Conan O’Brien, aka the King of Sad Jokes or simply the Sad Joke, but the damage may be more serious than that – we may, God forbid, lose also the King of Fake Laughs, Andy What’s his Name and this may cause an irreversible damage to our leadership position as the Empire of Laughless Jokes.

Talking of laughless jokes, there is also a danger that we will never see SNL (Strictly No Laughs) again. What a tragic way to end 35 years of redundancy. Finally, if we don’t do something about it we may never see the peacock or any other cock again.
