A Christening New Jersey Style

This had to be the most ridiculous episode yet. Obviously Teresa can’t see or won’t accept the fact that her poor husband is struggling financially. She couldn’t see what the viewers saw when Joe practically had a nervous breakdown over the cost of her OTT party plans. Who does that? A first dance with the bride/groom/newly christened infant? A wedding cake? This woman needs therapy.

It would not surprise me if Joe ran away or dumped Teresa. She is the biggest fool ever and makes Italians everywhere look like greedy, stupid people. I grew up with Italians and I NEVER saw such a display of conspicuous consumption. If I were Dina Manzo I would not want any credit for that fiasco of a party. It was beyond tacky and I can only hope that her decorating clients didn’t watch the show. I would never hire someone who has such low class taste.

The group constantly overlooks the fact that Teresa is a low class jerk and they make all sorts of excuses for her. Maybe it’s time that someone told her that she has zero taste and zero intelligence. She also has no love or compassion for her over-worked husband or her spoiled daughters and is teaching them that life is all about the money and what it can buy. This to me she is a bad mother and makes her nemesis, Danielle, look like the best mother in the world.

Speaking of Danielle, I don’t blame her for being upset with Kim G. Who would tell such a personal secret, (Danielle wants to search for her birth mother) to those who hate Danielle and are known to spread gossip? Kim G. is a nasty woman and I can only continue to hope that she does not become a permanent part of this show. Her behavior outside the restaurant was quite the performance and she should be hiding under a rock somewhere after it aired last night. She might be wealthy but she is a tacky person who also has no class or manners. What’s up with New Jersey, did an invitation go out for all classless individuals to congregate there?

Nothing much to say about the rest of the clan because they offered nothing to the show. Caroline was boring, Jacqueline was boring and the entire show was a mess of gilded junk provided by Teresa and Dina at The Brownstone. It seems like such a nice place that it was sad to see it turned into a weird New Jersey version of Graceland or Liberace’s museum in Las Vegas.

The women (or some of them) go to Italy next week which was probably a desperate ploy to inject some semblance of culture into a show that totally lacks any. I can’t wait…NOT.
