After a promising start (”Platoon”, “Wall Street”) in the 80s, the son of Martin Sheen (”Apocalypse Now”) began to participate in rather modest films before turning almost entirely to the television series.
“Two and a Half Men” is considered one of the U.S. television series more successful. The production of the CBS focus on a composer of music for commercials (Sheen), his divorced brother and the son of the latter who only thinks of food has also been issued in other countries.
According to some publications, Sheen makes $ 825,000 per chapter. The actor has also been the subject of headlines for his problems with alcohol, drugs and their troubled relationships.
“People” said that CBS hoped that the actor is a new season. “Although he has told friends he will not return,” the report said. By now it has refused to make the eighth season.
Sheen’s spokesman said about the “Charlie’s contract is only for this season.” CBS simply noted that the station does not comment on contract negotiations.
Sheen faces a trial for allegedly assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller last Christmas. There were several views and in February, the actor entered a rehabilitation center. Apparently both Sheen and Mueller, the mother of his twins, were drunk when it happened.
