Chuck

My review of the TV show Chuck.

A friend suggested the TV series Chuck to me; he said it was funny and interesting. He said funny and I like to laugh so that was what got my attention. I decided to watch it and he was not lying. It got off to a slow start but quickly burrowed its way under my skin, especially as Chuck (Zachary Levi) is one of the hottest nerds I know. The staff of the Buy more is hilarious; the first in line is Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez) his best friend followed by the dumb and dumber Lester (Vik Sahay) and Jeff (Scott Krinsky). All of who are crushing on the cute Anna Wu (Julia Ling) who eventually dated and dumped Morgan and “Big Mike” the manager(Mark Christopher Lawrence) they are all afraid of. He lived with his beautiful sister Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and her “awesome” now-husband, Devon Wood comb (Ryan Mcpartlin) (both of whom are doctors) for a while before they moved out and left the house to him. The CIA agents who come in and complicate his life are both hot and interesting in their own way. By order of appearance, I’ll start with Bryce Larkin (Matthew Bomer) Chuck’s university roommate, he was the guy to hate especially after what he did to Chuck but as I suspected he had good reason to do those things and was only protecting Chuck. They are tough agents but still people with feelings and doubts like Agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) and Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin). I was happy to see that Casey with all his grunts and tough guy attitude had a soft side and could actually be nice without being rough about it. It was also very amusing to watch him adapt to life as a civilian under the influence of big mike. Sarah is always a dream to watch especially with Chuck. General Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) reminds me of a strict grandmother at times and can be quite funny when she is impatient with Chuck’s nonsense. Another good thing I love about this show is the nonstop supply of eye candy in the form of spies and agents for example Brandon Routh. All I can say is please keep them coming. I can sleep better now that Chuck and Sarah are finally together and don’t have to hide their feelings for each other (not that Chuck ever hid his). It is also cool that he can now defend himself (the CIA was good enough to put all form of self defense skills in the new intersect). This action-comedy TV show is something to look forward to after a stressful day and I am happy that it is still around. Can’t wait to see what the next episode holds
