Is Anything Real About The Housewives of Nyc?

What a mess.

So, Kelly Bensimon goes back to the city after her fateful trip with Ramona and the girls and flat out lies to Jill and Luann. Why am I not surprised? At first I really thought that Kelly had suffered a nervous breakdown but after listening to her recount what supposedly happened I now believe that she is just a liar AND a psychotic. Perhaps pathological liar is a term that might explain her apparent breakdown?

Jill as always, is all about Jill and when she wasn’t welcomed like the royalty she thinks she is she got all teary eyed. Poor Jill. The entire world is supposed to circle around her as if she were the sun and the moon all rolled up into one. I don’t blame Alex, Bethenny and Ramonal for not wanting her to crash the last day of their already ruined trip. The only thing that Jill brings to the table is drama and misery for all who come into her “fabulous circle of friends”.

I am amazed that Bravo uses Jill’s mother, Gloria as an advice columnist since she obviously didn’t do a very good job raising her own daughter. Jill is totally insecure and seems to suffer from a “Jewish mother complex”. Who in their right mind would take advice from someone who messed up their own kid so badly?

As far as ice skating is concerned, Jill should not quit her day job. I skated as a child and did the same turns and little moves that Jill attempted while she stood in the spotlight surrounded by her adoring and probably VERY puzzled friends. Was she supposed to be  good skater? The costume itself was a joke. NO ONE else came dressed like an old version of Tinkerbell and NO ONE else attempted to show off unless you count the countess who skated almost as badly as Jill. Do either of these women have any sense of themselves?

Luann keeps singing her horrible tunes and Jill keeps trying to prove to the world that she and the countess are the be all and end of New York Society. They are both pathetic creatures who deserve each other.

I can’t wait to see the lunch meeting between Jill and Bethenny because it will turn out just as I expect it too. Too little too late for Queen Jill. That’s it…Queen Jill and Countess Luann. The royalty of New York City. The only thing left for them to do is met up with The Duchess of York because that would truly be a meeting of the minds.

Alex seems a little fragile lately as does Bethenny so I hope than she is okay. We don’t see her with Simon as much this season and that’s too bad because he is a hoot and a very real guy. He wears what he pleases, says what he pleases and is genuine. Oh wait, that’s probably why he doesn’t want to hang out with the fakes as much. He and Alex had/have such a cute, close relationship and I hope that the show hasn’t altered that in any way. Last season Alex seemed more in tune with her and her family and less involved with Jill and friends. My advice for Alex; stick with your family instead of those nutty “gals” (as Kim Cattral would call them).

Next week is the big renewal ceremony for Ramona and Mario and also the season finale. I am looking forward to the reunion because all of them will have seen how Kelly behaved and her lies will be exposed. I am wondering if Jill and the countess will still want to be her pals after that. It would not surprise me if they defended her behavior because they are both one gossip tidbit away from a nervous breakdown themselves.
