Marian Rivera as Darna: A Review
A superb acting skill with a pretty face, that is Marian Rivera. She is the pride of GMA 7. Darna is GMA 7’s ambitious project. And, it has a grand impact to the audience who appreciates the Filipino culture.
I remembered that Darna is the Filipina version of Wonder Woman. She is a super hero who would fight the evil forces who wanted to rule the world. Governor Vilma Santos used to portray the role of Darna. Then, many actressed followed her lead including Angel Locsin. For a talented and beautiful actress Marian Rivera who would be playing the role of Darna this year, I think she can make it. She succeeded to play the role of Dyesebel and Marimar. She is also starred in Carlo J. Caparas’ Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang.
In this story, Narda and Valentina will become rival again because of their love interest named Eduardo. Supposedly Narda will come from a different planet. But, in the story, she is just a human who has a gift to save the world. Therefore, she is the Messiah of San Martin.
