Need a New Television? Check Out The Lg 32lh20 32″ Hdtv

One of the most awesome new televisions for 2009: the LG 32 LCD HDtv 32LH20. It’s cheap, powerful, big, and is made by one of the most reputable electronic manufacturers in the US.

The LG 32LH20 is one of LG’s newest televisions for 2009. My review here is just a quick explanation of the features of this new LCD HDtv and what they do, which I might add, is a lot!

First off, the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio enables you to see the TV clearly from off angles up to a 178 degree angle. When dealing with large get-togethers, this is practically a necessity. Whether it’s you and the guys watching the super bowl, or the entire family watching a holiday special on Christmas Eve, this feature is a must. Just whatever you do, don’t hand the four-year-old the remote!

Like many of the newer televisions, the new set from LG also has a built-in HDTV tuner, which allows you to watch high-definition broadcasts from an antenna capable of picking up such channels(which most of the newer ones do). No need for cable or satellite dishes, just hook it up to your antennae and you get high-definition TV for free! Failing that, you can still watch all of the digital channels without any further modification.

The monitor’s 6 ms response time ensures the smoothest transitions between frames. The LG 32LH20 has a 24p Real Cinema Mode with 2:2 pulldown, which allows you to reproduce movies as they are viewed in theaters by making the images just as natural and life-like as on the big screens. Heck, you’re already watching it on the big screens! To complement this, there are also 3 color temperature modes and 3 A/V modes, allowing you to adjust your LG 32lH20 for movies, sports and games.

This HDtv also has a feature that allows you to preset the different channels in one mode so that you can quickly alternate between them. Extremely useful when you can’t decide on which game to watch, and can’t but help watch all of them at once!

The LG 32LH20 also features an excellent 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and has a very high brightness rating. This allows you to be immersed so much in what you’re watching that you actually think you’re there! And though the default setting are immaculate, you can manipulate the brightness and contrast to suit your own personal tastes. The clarity on the 32LH20 HDtv is unparalleled, the pictures looking as clear and crisp as they’ll ever be.

For display, ultra-slim LG 32LH20 can be mounted on your wall, thus saving load of space, or it can be kept on its original stand. It also has 2 HDMI inputs for connecting your HD-capable gadgets, such as blu-ray players and gaming consoles. Another awesome feature that LG puts into their newer televisions is the ability to connect a computer to your HDTV. Think about how awesome Crysis or Fallout 3 would look on that!

The built-in audio of the LG 32LH20 is very well designed, if not impressive. The manual of the LG 32LH20 shows that there is a built-in 20 watt, 2-way speaker system, which guarantees that you will always have the best sound effects. Of course, hooking it up to your surround- sound getup multiplies your experience ten fold! The LG Hdtv also has a built-in feature that adjusts to compensate for Volume fluctuations between channels, programs, and commercials. If that’s not good enough, the “Clear Voice II” technology makes sure that dialogues are intelligible and easy to hear. You can even understand people speaking when the background noise would otherwise cancel it out on any other television.

Other features included in the LG 32LH20 HDtv are SimpLink functionality and the “Smart Energy Saving” package from LG, which introduces new and more efficient methods to conserve power, slicing out a notable chunk in your electric bill. Do you realize how much electricity people are paying for on their televisions these days?!

The LG 32LH20 is built to give you more value for your money than most of its competitors, while still retaining the classic features of LG, which by itself guarantees a good buy. Just because it’s new, I give the LG32 LCD HDtv 32LH20 a 4 out of 5. Otherwise, it’d be a full on 5.
