A brief overview of the Palladia Channel.
Palladia is a channel that it is owned by the MTV Networks company. Palladia is broadcast solely in 1080i resolution. The channel is available through a variety of television providers to include Comcast, DirecTV, Dish Network, Fios, and Time Warner Cable to name a few. Most providers require that customers subscribe to an add-on subscription to receive programming from Palladia.
Palladia first launched in the winter of 2005. The channel was originally called Music: High Definition. The channel offers subscribers an outstanding experience in which they actually get to see concerts that have been recorded along with other programs that involve actual music. VH1 Storytellers, CMT Crossroads, and MTV Unplugged seem to air on Palladia fairly often. Usually, a good concert can be seen on the channel at just about any time of day. The Palladia Channel has arose as one of the few channels that still play music today on a regular basis as many of the original stations that aired music and music videos have strayed from doing so.
