Sonny with a Chance: A New Hanna Montana of Disney Channel or Just Another Knock Off?

“Sonny With a Chance,” the new Disney Channel show staring Demi Lovato and other new up and coming Disney Channel actors premiered sunday, February 8. Demi plays a character named “Sonny” which is obvious because it’s called “Sonny” with a chance. She’s suppose to be a ordinary girl from Wisconsin that got a chance to be on a popular show “So Random.” This show has some of the same characteristics of the hit show “Hanna Montana” which is also on Disney Channel, as “Sonny” Demi Lovato, plays a popular character on the show “So Random” though an average girl outside of the show, same as Miley Cyrus that plays an double life of Miley and Hanna Montana. The dialogue of Sonny with a Chance wasn’t too funny, and it’s not what it was hyped up to be, but overall so far its a pretty good show, let’s see if it gets better.
