See who will be receiving a standing ovation on Sunday night after the X-Factor finals? Isn’t she the woman who stepped into foreign territory of covert British celebrity scenes? Yes, it is the Scottish shy crooner Susan Boyle – now a true celebrity from oblivion.
And SuBo as ‘celebs’ and fans have since preferred to call, her is rocking the global charts with her new release: I Dreamed A Dream. He release has sold more than 4.5 million copies and still counting! And so, then you wonder why in heavens name those jeers came from when early in the year a tardy looking shy, never-laid Scottish stepped at the podium of the British’s Got Talent show to dream like any other.
Ms. Boyle did not disappoint. It took less than a minute before all the jeers went cheering her uniquely melodic soprano. And boy, that gal can sing. She’s 48, never kissed, never laid, but has managed to bring raw talent to a platform that was long hijacked by imposters whose understanding of talent is a craft of nudity. See, how this church-going virgin has brought down the roof and taken back the talent honor code: she is natural whose dress-code is a spectacularly sight that does not exclude age groups. Anybody can revel at her performance without jumping a scene.
She has just realized her life-long dream. Meeting let alone sharing a stage with the British super songstress Elaine Paige. And she shared a stage with her as equal and did a rendition together. How sweet. This shy woman whose self-esteem for the 47 years of her life had been a sully-low until debut to fame has every reason to claim the world. She sings for all audiences and leaves a lasting impact and above all gives everyone a reason to dream. There’s no age limit to dreams. Keep dreaming!
