The Flintstones in Comparison to the Stone Age

Is The Flintstones accurate to what actually happened in the Stone Age? Find out here.

As most people probably know, The Flintstones was a very popular Television show that aired in 1960 until 1966. This report compares The Flintstones to what actually happened in the Stone Age. The Flintstones is about the zany adventures of Fred and Wilma Flintstone, along with their friends, Barney and Betty Rubble. Is The Flintstones accurate to what happened in the Stone Age? Here is my answer, based on data from the Internet and a book called The Ancient World.

I think The Flintstones is not at all accurate at what happened in the Stone Age. One example is Dino, Fred’s domesticated dinosaur. Dinosaurs came way before The Stone Age, but other animals were domesticated. A few examples are cattle and horses for pulling things, cows and pigs for food, and dogs for hunting. Because of these facts, Dino and all of the other dinosaurs couldn’t have been actually domesticated.

Another example that supports my proven theory that The Flintstones is not accurate is how they have cars. There were absolutely no cars in the Stone Age, yet feet power the ridiculous cars in The Flintstones! Eventually the wheel and axle was developed, used for trading. People made carriage- like objects, and used domesticated cattle, horses, and oxen to pull it. This research proves that no cars could possibly have existed in the Stone Age.

My final example is the objects The Flintstones have. The TV remote has a bird inside that turns on the TV. Birds were never domesticated, and the TV came thousands of years later. They also have Stages and auditoriums scattered through Bedrock. These objects could have never existed in the Stone Age.

In Conclusion, The Flintstones is not at all accurate. I have conducted research to find this information out. I also have plenty of data tables to further support my Conclusion. Although entertaining, The Flintstones is one of the worst places to go if you are looking for facts.

this is a no brainer. It is a kids cartoon show, meant to entertain not give a history lesson, by the way as far as your assessment that “birds were never domesticated” um,wrong….been to a pet shop lately?
