I've been away from the loop with football too long. I loved it as a young child, growing up. Being from Texas, it turned out always the Cowboys. In those days, the heroes were Roger Staubach and Tom Landry. Afterwards, after shifting to California, I found myself on occasion rooting for John Brodie of the 49ers, nonetheless it was always Cowboys in the event the two came head-to-head. At this time, I'm retired. The difficulties of output deadlines, personal initiatives and endless errands have receeded. And I wax nostalgically for the gridiron and the excitement of the competition. Yes, I will be watching so much more football. You may bet on it.
