To the horror of many, Bruno! has secured its place at the top of the list of disappointing films.

The most controversial movie of 2009 is finally here. Bruno made its debout in the most akward types of advertising we have yet to see in American society. After a crew of trained employees glued posters of the new movie to almost every bank, shopping mall, and restaurant in New York. Although this is considered a fellony in the state of New York, the deed was done in the middle of the night, in secrecy and discretion. And to top the illegally placed posters, Sasha Baron a.k.a Bruno appeared almost naked on the front page of DQ magazine. To the magazine writer’s amazement, the sales charts doubled in only 3 days after the issue release.
The actual movie, unlike most thought, was not at all like its predecessor, Borat. Dissappointing many, Bruno became a huge train wreck on the business charts as in the first 4 days, the cinema rooms were almost empty in every state. The movie portrays Bruno as a austrian designer which comes to the U.S. to create a new beginning. However, the writers savagely attack the subject, as in more than one skit of the movie, the scenes become more similar to homosexual pornography, rather than an amusing comedy, such as Borat. T
he story is very dilluted and the conclusion of the movie includes Bruno and his business partner getting married, after fighting almost naked in a wrestling cage match. Person after person which have seen the movie either was completely disgusted or shocked as the movie leaned dangerously off the cliff of comedy, leading into pure indecency, leading us to think that this film will definetly not score good in sales neither in the U.S. or Europe.
Last thoughts: if you enjoyed borat, you will kind of like bruno, and if you disliked borat, you will definetly hate bruno. If you have not seen neither, it is best you stay the same.
