Probably the most watched family today, The Simpson’s is what many would call an entertainment phenomenon. This very family started the tradition of satirical family humour, all those years ago – remember how Homer used to speak?   19. The Simpson’s currently holds the Guinness Book of World Records titles for “Longest-running Primetime Animated Series” and “Most Celebrities Featured in an Animation Series.”
  20. The “couch gag” sequence is frequently used to help show staff make the show longer or shorter, depending on the length of the episode itself. Most couch gags last only about five seconds, but the longest one on record lasted 46 seconds.
  21. Homer’s middle name is Jay.
  22. Bumblebee guy’s real name is Pedro.
  23. There are 121 Springfields in the US. – Matt Groening picked the name for the city because it was so common and well-known.

    Concerning item #16, I thought it said $2__ during the analogue opening and $4__ now with the digital opening, which are supposed to be the nation’s average for monthly groceries.

    It takes a whole lot more than $800 to raise a newborn to one year.

    I wanted to make an impression at a household reunion and bear in mind the names of all of the new husband’s household members. There was one gent whom I’d asked his name and tried incredibly to bear in mind but failed repeatedly. Finally he bailed me out and said his name was Dick.     To “tony”: It does read the $800 amount in the new beginning, that was created after the 20th season for a new opening
