Return of The Dancing with The Stars: Season 9

Dancing with the stars returned for season 9 on September 21, 2009 with a three night premiere. It is the reality show aired by ABC – American Broadcasting Company in the United States of America.

9th season started off with 16 celebrities. Four new dances are introduced. Charleston, Lambada, Bolero and Two-steps are those dances. There will be three double-eliminations. Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris being the hosts, Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli returned back as the permanent judges. Baz Luhrmann appeared as guest judge during week two, instead of Len Goodman.

The celebrity comedy actor Ashley Hamilton who had Edyta Śliwińska as the professional partner, got eliminated on the first place on September 23, 2009. He was followed by the Grammy Award winner, singer Macy Gray who had Jonathan Roberts as Professional partner. The third eliminated was Supermodel and Entrepreneur Kathy Ireland who had Tony Dovolani as Professional partner.
